Novak Djokovic‘s Australian Open dominance was threatened as there was a scare of a persisting wrist injury. But days of speculation have come to an end as we finally have an update on the situation. The Djoker has won the tournament 10 times and aims to make the number 11 as he has landed for practice in Melbourne.

The major injury scare came during the United Cup when the Serbinator took a medical break during his match against Alex De Minaur. The wrist issue persisted, and the world was scared of witnessing an Australian Open without the 24-time grand slam champion.

Watching the Australian Open take place without the Djoker is like having ice cream without sugar. It’s not right. Tennis fans were wildly speculating whether the Serbian star would play in the tournament due to an injury sustained in the United Cup. But after days of agony, fans are relieved of their anxiety – Novak Djokovic has arrived Down Under.

Saša Ozmo, a tennis and basketball journalist, recently shared a post on his ‘X’ profile and wrote, “Novak #Djokovic is scheduled to practice tomorrow afternoon in Melbourne“. The news comes as a big relief to all tennis fans as the wrist injury scare of the Djoker took precedence over most news in tennis. Most are already disappointed at the prospect of not seeing Rafael Nadal; missing out on the Serb would have been another big blow.
