World No.1 Novak Djokovic recently earned his spot in the semi-finals of the Wimbledon Championships 2021. Facing Marton Fucsovics in the quarter-finals, he didn’t face any difficulty and won the match quite easily in straight sets. The final scoreline of the match was 6-3, 6-4, 6-4.

This was the 315th victory for Novak Djokovic in the Grand Slams. He is now second on the list and is only behind Roger Federer who has 369 wins in the majors right now.

In the post-match interview, Djokovic faced a strange question. He was asked that how does it feel to be the ‘bad guy’ chasing Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal all these years. Interestingly, Nole gave the journalist a benefitting response.

“I don’t consider myself a bad guy. I mean, that’s your opinion,” said Djokovic in response.

Djoker certainly doesn’t consider himself as the bad guy on the court. However, he is surely inching close towards Federer and Nadal and might level them in the Grand Slam tally if he wins the Wimbledon Championships 2021.

Novak Djokovic will face Denis Shapovalov in the semi-finals of the Wimbledon Championships 2021

After playing amazingly well at the Wimbledon Championships 2021 so far, Djokovic will meet Denis Shapovalov in the semis of the Grand Slam.

The Canadian star is enjoying some great form at the moment and has already defeated the likes of Andy Murray and Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets at the tournament. As a result, he can definitely give some good competition to Djoker in the semis of the tournament and might prove to be a big threat.
