Two jackpots in two consecutive days! Taylor Fritz, the top-ranked American Tennis player, has struck a deal with Chipotle right after switching to BOSS from Nike breaking his 8-year-long partnership as an apparel sponsor. Chipotle is his first-ever on-sleeve sponsor this year!

However, his relationship with this California-based American chain of fast-casual restaurants is not new. In fact, Fritz has often reflected on his love for Chipotle during the interviews. It has been a big part of his diet before tournaments and misses them the most while on Tour.

A Chipotle patch will now appear on the left sleeve of his on-court shirt at all tournament matches throughout the year. Taylor Fritz recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to make this announcement. He wrote, “If you know me… this is a dream come true. Excited to officially partner with Chipotle. Big things coming !!

Reflecting on his love for the brand, he once said that he eats Chipotle before or after his intense training seasons. He likes the option to customize one’s bowl. Talking about his typical Chipotle bowl, he said, “You can be unhealthy with your bowl if you want to get like a ton of cheese on it, but you can also just go in and get chicken, rice, vegetables, and guacamole and that’s a great meal after you’ve just worked out.” Fritz stressed the importance of having a good post-workout meal. He believes this bowl has everything in it.

However, the fans were more surprised to see Taylor Fritz practicing in an all-black BOSS kit ahead of his campaign at the BNP Paribas Open. But interestingly, he was still sporting his Nike shoes during the training sessions. Let’s find out Fritz’s reaction to switching to BOSS.

The CEO of HUGO BOSS, Daniel Grieder said that Taylor Fritz “perfectly embodies” the values of their brand and hailed him as a “great personality on and off the court.” He further added that Fritz being the best American tennis player at the moment, will indeed play a crucial role in engaging with their fans in North America.
