“Proud”: Roger Federer and Tennis World Hail Novak Djokovic For 20th Grand Slam Victory at Wimbledon Championships 2021

World No.1 Novak Djokovic emerged as the winner of the Wimbledon Championships 2021. He has now equalized Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in the Grand Slam tally as he won his 20th major in London. Interestingly, this is his sixth Wimbledon Championships title in his career.
Facing Matteo Berrettini in the finals, Novak Djokovic made a wonderful comeback after losing the first set. Even though he lost the first set in a close tie-breaker, he never gave any chance to the Italian player to bounce back after that. The final scoreline of the match was 6(4)-7(7), 6-4, 6-4, 6-3.

Many tennis legends congratulated Djokovic after he won his 20th Grand Slam title at Wimbledon 2021. The really special message came from Roger Federer who has also won 20 Grand Slams in his career.
“Congrats Novak on your 20th major. I’m proud to have the opportunity to play in a special era of tennis champions. Wonderful performance, well done!” tweeted the Swiss Maestro.

11-time Grand Slam champion, Rod Laver, hailed Nole and tweeted that this an amazing achievement for Nole.
