‘This is going to be on tennis TV.’ Have you heard the infamous Daniil Medvedev statement that was said out of frustration but turned out to be a huge remark in itself? But the Russian tennis player doesn’t feel the same and might think a little differently about how tennis fans remember him after that incident and not about his on-court achievements.

The 27-year-old Russian tennis player has played some big matches against tennis giants, including Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic. However, like other tennis players, he does not get much attention for his memorable victories, which he definitely deserves.

The one-time Grand Slam champion recently appeared on The Tennis podcast. And talked about a lot of things regarding his tennis career. Not only that, but he also shared his disappointment about what tennis fans remember about him in general. And how, after 2 years, they still kind of make fun of his meltdown on the tennis court rather than focusing on his growing skills or victory over the same platform.

He said, “I honestly don’t have much people talking to me about the US Open 2019. but I have lot of people who talk; this is going to be on Tennis TV. I think that’s the most popular line anyone can say to me like every second fan that sees me on the street, especially in the US. Just tells me this is gonna be on tennis TV.”

Further, he also highlighted how people have never talked about him regarding his biggest defeat against the 22-time Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal, in the 2019 US Open final championship match. Even though, in the clash the tennis, star had a similar outburst of his anger, after losing a point. However, along with that he displayed his tennis skills at his best. But have asked several questions regarding his understatement. However, the biggest question is what gave rise to the famous understatement that is remembered by almost every tennis fan.
