It is as if the entire world is eagerly waiting for Roger Federer to make a comeback. The Swiss Maestro will most probably return at the Australian Open 2021 after almost one year. Along with his fans, the entire tennis fraternity truly missed him while he was away due to a knee injury.
Recently, a fan posted a video giving an emotional tribute to the Swiss Legend. ‘Lehunterpro’ posted the 5-min video on YouTube, which had the ups and downs of Federer’s life. It’s true that Federer could retire at any moment since he will be 40 in 2021. However, fans still hope to see more of him more and end up making such videos for him.

The video began with the Australian Open 2020 match between Federer and Novak Djokovic. Djokovic defeated him in the semis and went on to win the title. What was beautiful was the contrast, as one could see Federer lifting the same title in 2018.
The second frame was similar because one could watch the parallel between Rafael Nadal lifting the French Open 2020 and Federer lifting it in 2009. One could also see Federer hugging Nadal and sharing a light moment with him in the latter part of the video. The music in the background made things all the more emotional.

The video also had an interview in which Federer talked about his retirement. “I don’t know where it’s gonna be, when it’s gonna be. So, it’s still very vague, you know. I don’t really think about it a whole lot. I hope that I would be more happy inside when that moment would come around,” said Federer.
The video showed Federer breaking down, tearing up, and yet not giving up. He fell, showed his frustration, and yelled, but he still managed to outshine his opponents.
