World No. 1 Novak Djokovic grabbed his 20th Grand Slam title at the Wimbledon Championships 2021. He has now equaled both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in the Grand Slam tally and is just two Wimbledon titles short of Federer’s Wimbledon record. Facing Matteo Berrettini in the finals, the Serb played some amazing tennis and won the match despite losing the first set. The final scoreline of the match was 6(4)-7(7), 6-4, 6-4, 6-3.
Roger Federer congratulated Novak Djokovic on Twitter after his phenomenal victory at the Wimbledon Championships 2021. He tweeted, “Congrats Novak on your 20th major. I’m proud to have the opportunity to play in a special era of tennis champions. Wonderful performance, well done!”

Twitter reacts as Roger Federer drafts two completely different messages for Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal
A fan compared the two messages that Federer wrote for Rafa and Nole when they won their 20th Grand Slam title. There seems to be a difference between the two tweets because, for Nadal, Roger wrote a big message and even shared a picture with the Spaniard, congratulating him on his splendid achievement. On the other hand, for Djokovic, Federer just wrote a simple message.

Many more fans laughed at what they believe to be the ‘hypocrisy’ of Federer. A fan even wrote, “Totally hilarious. Roger telling the world who he sees as a threat. Go back to Roger’s history and see who he praises. Compare how he spoke of Murray when Murray was beating him and when he started losing to Roger.”

However, a fan wrote that this is not at all disrespectful to Nole as the bond Federer shares with Rafa is different than what he shares with Djokovic.
I frankly don’t think it’s disrespectful to Novak that he had a longer, warmer response to Rafa, a man who is his friend and who was the first to equal his achievement? https://t.co/G9QbITzD3L
