World No. 1 Novak Djokovic lifted his 20th Grand Slam title at the Wimbledon Championships 2021. Facing World No. 9 and Queen’s Club Championships winner, Matteo Berrettini, in the finals, he made an incredible comeback after losing the first set in a close tiebreaker. The final scoreline of the match was 6(4)-7(7), 6-4, 6-4, 6-3.

This is the sixth Wimbledon title for Novak Djokovic and his third major of the year. He has now leveled Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in the Grand Slam tally and can surpass them at the US Open 2021, where he can also complete his Grand Calendar Slam.

Many tennis legends and other athletes of the sports fraternity congratulated Nole on his terrific accomplishment. Surprisingly, renowned Hollywood actor, Hugh Jackman, was also watching the finals of the Wimbledon Championships 2021 live and posted a story on his Instagram, applauding the Serbian legend.

“Yesssssssss! @djokernole. Unbelievable, Sensational, Bravo Team @Wimbledon,” wrote Jackman on his Instagram story.

Jackman is popular for playing his role of Wolverine in the X-men series, but fans hardly know that he is a big tennis fan himself. He watches the sport whenever he gets some free time.

Tom Brady also lauds Novak Djokovic after his sensational victory at the Wimbledon

Apart from Federer and Nadal, American football legend, Tom Brady also wrote an Instagram story congratulating Djoker. He even put a picture of Djokovic kissing the trophy and Nole reposted the story on his own Instagram.
