Novak Djokovic is one of the greatest players of all time. He, alongside Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, formed the big three of tennis. However, like every player, he went through some serious on-court injuries that slowed him down a bit. He incurred an elbow injury in 2017 that kept him on the sidelines for the rest of the year.
Though what’s fascinating is the man bounced back harder. He, in a way, defied the one universal sports world law that states that with injury and age, a player loses his grip on the game. His monstrous presence still scares his opponents. In fact, Jim Courier believes that Djokovic is on the same level as the NFL legend Tom Brady.

The veteran, while in an interview, stumbled upon the question of how good the 35-year-old Novak Djokovic looks on-court. “It seems like he has all of his options again,” he said in context to Djokovic recovering from his elbow injury and adding more moves to safeguard it.
"I think it's just a testament to his brilliance more than anything else."

“His 35-year-old body is not the average 35-year-old body. I could easily see him play for, you know, Tom Brady like years.” Brady, the legendary Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, is 45 years old and is still going strong. He announced retirement this year but after around six months rejoined the sport and is as good as ever.

The 21 times Grand Slam champion, who received a ticket to the ATP Finals with the help of his fourth consecutive Wimbledon win, is proving himself worthy in the tournament. He up till now has taken down the former World No 1 Daniil Medvedev, former World No 3 Stefanos Tsitsipas, and the young blood Andrey Rublev.
