By winning the French Open 2022, Rafael Nadal has not only created history but also instilled deep respect and admiration from fans worldwide. Despite being injured, the Spanish tennis legend was persistent and played to the best of his capacity to win the Roland Garros.

The 22-time grand slam winner has recently partnered with Kia to open a tennis clubhouse to provide equal opportunity for young players in the sport.

Rafael Nadal partners up with Kia to promote an inclusive sport

Rafael Nadal took to Twitter to announce his partnership with Kia Worldwide. In the tweet, he stated, Proud to help launch the first ever #KiaClubhouse with my partners at @Kia_Worldwide, a new initiative making tennis easier for the next generation to access. So great to meet with so many aspiring young players and offer advice and inspiration. See you soon at the Kia Clubhouse.”

The initiative will focus on making tennis a global experience with more inclusivity and to instill a lifelong love for the sport. The Spaniard also paid a surprise visit during the launching event of the clubhouse in Paris.

When asked by a kid about the secret of his strong serve, the legendary Spaniard said, “I worked a lot during my tennis career to improve all the time.” Then when one asked how to improve her forehand, he straightway replied, “Practicing”.

The tennis legend became the first male player to win 22 grand slam titles, leaving Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic at 20 grand slam titles each.
