World No. 5 Alexander Zverev defeated World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in three sets in the semi-finals of the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The German player made an incredible comeback after losing the first set and stunned everyone with his exceptional performance. The final scoreline of the match was 1-6, 6-3, 6-1.
After the match, Alexander Zverev broke down into tears as he couldn’t believe what just happened. It was really a huge moment for him as he denied Novak Djokovic the Calendar Golden Slam.

Even after the match, Zverev sat on his bench for quite some time. Tears were rolling down his eyes and he was not able to control his emotions. He took some time, relaxed, and then got up to receive appreciation from the crowd.
