Christmas time is generally the time when people expect the unexpected. Tennis stars like Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal have their own way of celebrating Christmas. However, little do they know that their fans are also crazy for them even during Christmas.
One fan gifted something unique to her mother-in-law. The video trended and became viral due to the recipient’s priceless reaction.
The gift was actually a life-size cardboard piece of the 20-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal. Missey Meloche, the person who sent this gift tweeted that Rafa had always been her favorite player. She even said that Nadal was the love of her life.

The mother-in-law showed so much obsession with the gift that she was not ready to leave it. She hugged Rafa so tightly, as if he was actually standing right in front of her. It was thus the best Christmas present for the fan.
When the children started taking photos of her reaction, she said, “no pictures.”
She even didn’t allow the camera to see the gift as cardboard Nadal was only facing her until she turned it around. It was really a great gesture and people on social media really liked it.

It has been quite an impressive year for Rafa. Although he failed to win his maiden ATP Finals, he was able to equal Roger Federer in the Grand Slam tally for the very first time.

He won his 13th French Open title and even the Mexican Open 2020. Rafa didn’t take part in the US Open, but ended the year at the second spot in the ATP rankings.
