Nick Kyrgios had to sit this Australian Open 2024 out for now as he still has not completely recovered from his injuries. However, he still got the chance to be up and close with the tournament because he got to partner with Eurosport to cover the tournament as a commentator. This opportunity not only helped him stay up to date with the game personally, but his fans also got to see him on camera.

And now another fan has been added to the list of people who love his commentary for tennis and that is Chris Evert. She is all praises for the Australian tennis star and his amazing skill set.

Nick Kyrgios had his first day as a commentator at the Australian Open today and he posted about it on his official X, formerly Twitter, account. In response, Chris Evert reposted this tweet and along with it also added an appreciation message for him.

The commentating veteran wrote, “So happy to be listening to your insights, Nick Kyrgios have fun with my 2 favorites @espn @eurosport.” She not only posted about how she loves the work the Australian tennis player is doing but also that he is fortunate to be working with such great platforms for the sport including ESPN and Eurosport.

Not just Evert, but a lot of his fans were also very intrigued with the way he handled the commentary role, which was a surprising response based on how many handled the news at first. Fans could not resist appreciating his work on social media.

Nick Kyrgios has proven his talent behind the racket but apparently, he’s a maestro behind the mic as well! His fans are really happy that he is part of the tournament and giving his insights so well. One wrote, “Totally great work Nick Kyrgios”.

Another fan added, “He is good at it, natural, his accent makes it even better.” Tennis fans were glad to have a fresh perspective on the tournament from someone who has played it.

A fan also wrote, “He did ATP finals commentary for Tennis Channel and was terrific. He’s a natural.” They were really glad to have the Australian on the panel especially the way he made it fun for everyone.
