“Forgot to Post Before the Show”: Eugenie Bouchard Wishes Roger Federer From Her New Office

20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer celebrated his 40th birthday yesterday. Many renowned entities of the sports fraternity wished him happiness and success on his special day. Interestingly, Former World No.5 Eugenie Bouchard forgot to wish Roger Federer on his birthday as she was doing a show on the Tennis Channel.

But she made it up to the Swiss ace by wishing him from her new office, albeit a day late. She also recalled one of her first meetings with the Swiss Maestro after he won the Wimbledon Championships 2012 title.

“Happy 40th birthday Roger! Forgot to post before the show😅

“Throwback to ⁦Wimbledon 2012⁩!” tweeted a cheerful Bouchard.

Bouchard is a huge fan of Federer; she draws great inspiration from the former World No.1 player and doesn’t miss any chance to meet him even now.

Roger Federer will miss the National Bank Open 2021

After getting eliminated in the quarters of the Wimbledon Championships 2021, Federer is yet to return to the court. He hasn’t even begun his training sessions on the hard courts and in such a situation, fans are wondering whether he’ll play at the US Open 2021.

Federer recently announced that he’ll skip the National Bank Open 2021. Interestingly, he won’t play at the Cincinnati Masters this year either, which means he won’t get a lot of experience before the upcoming Grand Slam. The Swiss Maestro cited that he hasn’t fully recovered from his knee injury yet and thus will not play at the two Masters 1000 tournaments.
