Frances Tiafoe is proving once again why he’s setting the standard for boyfriend goals. While he’s a force to be reckoned with on the tennis court, it’s his thoughtful gestures off the court that truly steal the show. As he enjoys a well-earned break before diving into another action-packed season, Tiafoe is making sure his biggest supporter, girlfriend Ayan Broomfield, feels all the love and appreciation. This time, it is about celebrating a nostalgic moment that includes none other than the legendary Venus Williams.

The Canadian star and former D1 tennis player took to her Instagram to share a string of pictures as she attended an event by Cultured magazine with Venus Williams. In the pictures, she can be seen in a stunning beige outfit with Williams donning black attire as the two posed for a photo. Interestingly, Broomfield also shared an old picture with her idol in the same carousel in which the two can be seen on a tennis court which signifies Broomfield’s admiration for Williams. She wrote, “🤍🥹 @venuswilliams and you for having me @cultured_mag.” This quickly caught the attention of Broomfield’s boyfriend who failed to contain his excitement and happiness. 

Sharing the post on his Instagram story with the nostalgic picture as the spotlight, Tiafoe expressed his joy and wrote, “This is crazzzyyyyy @ayan.broomfield.” This reaction is justified especially because of the admiration that his girlfriend has often depicted for the Williams sisters. 

Taking to her TikTok recently, Broomfield shared her love for Serena Williams and Venus Williams. “I’ve been involved in tennis since I was five years old. Tennis has genuinely been my life and actually I have idols in the sport. Venus Williams and Serena Williams happen to be two of my biggest idols and role models,” she said. Continuing further, she also recalled the moment when she met Venus for the first time. “When I met Venus for the first time, I believe, I was 15. I got a wild card to the professional tennis tournament in Canada, and Venus Williams was there. I met her on the practice courts, and I was like, ‘ahhhhh’,” signifying her happiness over meeting her idol. Coming to Tiafoe, this is not the first time when he has swooned over his girlfriend in such a manner.

The couple started dating back in 2015, and they have often expressed love for each other openly. From engaging in social media PDAs to going out on dates, the couple never fails to mesmerize their fans. One such moment was witnessed when Broomfield partnered with the energy drinks company, Celsius. In the pictures she shared on her social media, she was seen in a neon pink tennis outfit on the court, taking a sip of the drink. Frances Tiafoe was quick to shower his love in the comments and wrote, “def gon get me a Celsius now 🥰😍😍❤️❤️.” However, the efforts are not one-sided and Broomfield too ensures to extend immense support to her star boyfriend.

Ayan Broomfield might not be very active in tennis lately, but she was one of the top players at Clemson University and then UCLA. Hence, her love for the sport has continued to remain intact and it is for this reason that she is able to not only understand the emotions of his boyfriend but also extend the much-needed support to him ahead of the matches. 

Detailing the same in an interview with ATP Tour.com in 2023, Broomfield shared “We can talk about tennis. I mean, I played tennis myself. So even just when we’re seeing the draw, and we kind of look at certain players, sometimes I can act as a sounding board for matches.” Continuing further, she added, “Not to say that he takes my advice, but it’s nice to be able to chat about it and strategy. I just feel like we just understand it and what it takes for someone to go and be able to compete at the highest level.”

It is definitely due to this love and support that Tiafoe and Broomfield have continued to depict a strong bond and have remained together for almost a decade now. Whether it’s smashing records or creating sweet memories, the duo continues to be a fan-favorite power couple in the tennis world!
