He has made audiences around the globe laugh by imitating the on-court style of some of the top tennis players.

The Serbian tennis player once imitated his friend and former tennis player, Maria Sharapova. Djokovic and Sharapova were once spotted playing tennis together, with the Serbian emulating her.

The 21 Grand Slam title winner once made the crowd laugh as he donned a blonde wig to emulate the former Russian tennis player, Maria Sharapova. Novak Djokovic also mimicked the on-court mannerism of Sharapova. Fans spotted him warming up and practicing some forehands just like the 5 Grand Slam champion.

The Serbian tennis player also kicked the way Sharapova takes a serve on the tennis court. Djokovic amused the former Russian tennis player with his impersonation of her. As a result, Sharapova burst out laughing as she returned the Serbian’s serve.

Djokovic also imitated Sharapova during an interview in front of an audience and the media. He donned a blonde wig and also mimicked Sharapova’s Russian accent. Djokovic mocked Sharapova for being too glamorous as he stated in a Russian accent, “With us women it’s all about glamour and looking beautiful on and off the court and showing off… I have to… I work every day and I’m trying to win matches but I’m trying to look glamorous and I think I’m doing well,”

The Serbian has also imitated some of the greatest tennis players like Serena Williams, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and many others.

When Sharapova went out on a date with Djokovic

Djokovic and Sharapova have always shared a good friendship throughout their tennis journey. Additionally, they once revealed to their fans that Djokovic once asked Sharapova for a dinner date. They both revealed their dating history live on Instagram which surprised the fans.

The incident happened during an exhibition in La Quinta in 2007. During that period, Djokovic was not among the prominent tennis players on the ATP tour. Sharapova further revealed that the Serbian tennis player challenged her during the game. She further revealed that Djokovic surprised her when he asked her out for a dinner date. However, later they both went out on a date to a Japanese place.
