Players often take part in various hilarious challenges before a tournament commences, and the time before the Miami Open was no different. This time, Andy Murray, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Iga Swiatek, Holger Rune, Frances Tiafoe, Madison Keys, and Qinwen Zheng took part in a contest that had them imitate Dolphin noises. While everyone gave it a shot, there was one clear winner of the contest.
As the Miami Open began, several players stepped forward to take part in a challenge given to them by Tennis Channel. The tennis outlet asked players if they could imitate the voice of a dolphin. Every player gave their shot. Gauff was the first to go and said, “Dolphins are my favorite animals, so,” before she gave her best imitation.
Pegula went after her, and then it was Murray’s chance, “I think it’s quite tricky isn’t it? Let’s see“, he said as he went on to nail the voice of the aquatic mammal, clearly winning the competition. Tiafoe and Rune also gave a shot but failed hilariously. When Swiatek’s turn came, she couldn’t manage to recreate the voice of the animal. “I don’t think I can; I’m really bad at this. My parents didn’t have these games with me. Like do a cow sound.”

Keys also said something along similar lines, “There’s absolutely no way I can make that sound. It’s just not in me at all,” but gave it a shot regardless. Qinwen Zheng also gave it a shot but lacked many needed qualities.
