Chicago Bulls face the Philadelphia 76ers in an exciting Eastern Conference clash. The Sixers are 2nd in the conference table, while the Bulls are fourth, just one loss more than the Sixers. Undoubtedly, it will be an important fixture that could change the table standings. However, this game will also feature two best friends; De Mar DeRozan and James Harden.
The upcoming Bulls vs Sixers fixture marks something on an individual level for both Harden and DeRozan. The two players have been best friends since their childhood days and Harden will face DeRozan for the first time in a Sixers jersey. DeRozan has been an important player for the Bulls this season and will be looking forward to making a mark against Harden’s Sixers.

James Harden was out due to a hamstring issue but will come back for the Bulls game to face his long-time best friend.

“I consider him family. We talk a lot. We have the same circle of friends,” DeRozan said in 2018, referring to Harden.
This goes on to show how close the two have been over the years. Moreover, they have never played on the same team in the NBA and have still managed to keep their friendship intact. In fact, DeRozan once even claimed that Harden could break Wilt Chamberlain’s long-standing NBA record.

In an interview with San Antonio Express-News, back in 2019, DeRozan claimed that James Harden could break Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point game record.

“I’m pretty sure if he put his mind to it, he could score 100,” DeRozan told San Antonio Express-News.

It came on 2nd March 1962, when the Philadelphia Warriors won 169-147 against the Knicks. Wilt shot 36/63 from the field and 28/32 against the Knicks. Notably, Kobe is 2nd on the list of most points in a game with 81 points.
