The Ben Simmons trade saga has been going on for months now. Since last August, he has been a hot topic in almost all NBA debates. Shaquille O’Neal discussed recently Ben Simmons in ‘Inside the NBA’. However, Simmons got back at Shaq through DMs. But now, Shaq has ended the feud and wished the 25-year-old the best in his future.

Shaq went on a rant in a recent episode of ‘Inside the NBA’. He called Simmons a ‘crybaby’. Ben Simmons messaged Shaq on Twitter and the two exchanged some texts. Shaq later revealed what happened between the two over the text messages.

“He kinda got in my DM and said some things, and I said some things back,” O’Neal told co-hosts, Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams.

However, in an eventful turn of events, Shaq has now ended the feud from his side. In a recent episode of ‘Inside the NBA’ on TNT, Shaq said that he respects the 25-year-old and wished him well for the future.

“He (Ben Simmons) sent me a text. I showed you guys the text, but I’m not gonna talk about (it). You know, I respect for him, what was in the DM,” Shaq said.

Ben Simmons has been in the news lately due to the trade deadline nearing in. The trade deadline is on February 10th, and the standoff between the Sixers and Simmons is still going on.

Ben Simmons expressed his desire to leave the Philadelphia-based franchise in August last year. However, the Sixers didn’t manage to trade him during the off-season due to offers they felt weren’t suitable. But the Sixers are doing well without him as well, as they sit 3rd in the Eastern Conference table with a 31-20 record.
