However, fans and analysts continue to debate who is the better one among the two. Recently, Stephen A. Smith and Isiah Thomas debated on the better one among the two.

One of the most prominent arguments for the GOAT debate is that Michael Jordan won six championships as compared to LeBron’s four. However, LeBron has been in the NBA for a longer. But arguments like these are not the exact parameters to compare two of the greatest players in the game. Hence, in the end, it comes down to everyone’s personal opinion.

“I respect and I appreciate your opinion. But let me just throw some facts around LeBron James’ career,” Isiah replied to Stephen A. Smith, who explained why Jordan should be no. 1 ahead of LeBron.

“I don’t believe in 10 of those finals that he’s been to, I think, maybe his team was favored maybe six times. I don’t think LeBron James went to the finals and got upset. Maybe he only got upset once, and that was by Dallas.”

While the media and fans continue to debate about who is the better one among LeBron and Jordan, the two players are focused on their respective careers. James is showing no signs of stopping at the age of 37 and continues to carry a struggling Lakers side this season. Jordan, on the other hand, is now a billionaire and owns an NBA and a NASCAR team.

As the GOAT debate goes on, the two met each other on Sunday during the All-Star event in Cleveland and hugged each other. James later admitted that MJ inspired him and he didn’t want to miss out on an opportunity to shake his hands.
