Golden State Warriors rookie Jonathan Kuminga has been in great form lately. The 19-year-old forward signed with the Warriors last summer after being drafted 7th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft. In fact, Kuminga’s performances have earned him comparisons to Giannis Antetokounmpo from fans.

Golden State Warriors signed Kuminga in August and handed him his debut in October vs the Thunder, where the youngster racked up three points in 6 mins. The 19-year-old has been getting more opportunities lately due to Draymond Green’s injury. He has now featured in five straight games, which includes two starts.

Kuminga made the most of his opportunity as he scored the first double of his career vs the Pistons earlier this week. He recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds in 25 mins vs. the Pistons. He also had a great game vs the Rockets, as he scored 7 points off the bench. Kuminga’s performances have made him a fan favorite and earned him comparison to Bucks star Antetokounmpo.
