His most successful run was with the Lakers where he won three championships. His trio with Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant dominated the NBA and led the Lakers to a three-peat.
Therefore, if there’s anyone who knows what needs to be done to win NBA championships, it’s Horry. Giannis Antetokounmpo who won the Finals MVP last season led the currently reigning NBA champions. In their recent conversation on the Big Shot Bob Pod, Horry and Shaq were discussing why they are impressed with Giannis’s achievements.

Robert Horry and Shaquille O’Neal praise Giannis Antetokounmpo
During their conversation on the latest episode of the Big Shot Bob Pod, Horry and O’Neal gave a shout-out to Giannis. Horry said, “The one thing I respect about Giannis is he said ‘I ain’t friends with nobody’ you know, I wanna do one thing and go out and win. So I respect his championship, I respect it.” to which O’Neal agreed. Further, Horry took a dig at Giannis’ head coach, “If he’s able to do it again, I’m his biggest fan. But he just needs a better coach than Bud.”
This was not the first time, Horry expressed his disapproval of coach Budenholzer. Even in July when he appeared on The Jump, and expressed his disapproval of the Bucks Coach. He said, “I still want to sit back and wait because you know that path that they had was a hard path but it was a path of least resistance. So I got to wait because he still hasn’t showed me enough to say he’s going to get this extension.”
