Shaquille O’Neal has always been known as an entertainer. From his prime basketball days to his emerging music career, he has always been a pleasure to watch. Only a few NBA fans know that the retired legend is currently pursuing a career as a DJ and a music producer. Shaq may not have done this professionally due to the NBA, but his obsession and love for music dates back to his youth. Since Shaq did not pursue music professionally, it is clear that he is doing so now as a hobby and not to earn money. It’s not like Shaq is in any need of money.
Moreover, Shaq is not modest about that fact. In fact, he took a not-so-subtle dig at the music industry while he was getting ready to perform at EDC Orlando last month.

While talking to Dash Radio before his performance in EDC, Shaquille O’Neal said, “I’m not trying to be the best DJ in the world. Cause listen, no offense to the DJs that make $50 million, I already make $50 million.”
