Golden State Warriors became one of the best teams in the NBA in the last decade as they reached five straight NBA finals. The Warriors led by Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andre Iguodala won three championships from the five Finals they played in the past decade.
The team formed an elite team of players who had a good relationship both on and off the court. Andre Iguodala joined the Warriors in 2013 and quickly became close friends with Steph Curry. The two played an important role in winning three championships. Iguodala even became the Finals MVP in 2015 for his monstrous performance against the Cavaliers.

Despite leaving the Warriors in 2019, Iguodala continued to have a lot of respect for Curry and defended him on several occasions in front of the media. He has now united with the Warriors again after signing with the franchise in the summer. Curry has recently revealed how Iguodala introduced the concept of investments to the Warriors team.
Stephen Curry opens up on Andre Iguodala instantly changing the dressing room conversations
Curry recently talked about his investments in tech startups such as Snaptravel. He also revealed that his entry into tech was orchestrated by Andre Iguodala.
“When he (Andre Iguodala) came from Denver in 2013, he came with passion behind it and some connections and he started to pique everybody’s interest,” Curry said.

And then obviously the awareness and exposure to what’s in our backyard, Silicon Valley—he was the first that really opened my eyes to what was possible in that arena.”
Curry’s investment arm, SC30, manages all of his off-court partnerships, brands, etc. Curry uses SC30 for some of his investments and even for philanthropy purposes. He launched SC30 in 2018 and has had several investments since then.

Some of SC30’s investments are SnapTravel, Palm, Team Solomid, among others. Curry has a lot of interest in investing in new tech startups and is still invested in some of them.
