Weeks after Classic Physique champion Chris Bumstead listed his top exercise choices in a trending podcast, bodybuilding icon dubbed as The Mutant, Nick Walker recently shared his version of the list. Interestingly, both lists are topped by basic workouts, which still vary depending on the athletes. Besides, the list of workouts solely depends on the particular athlete’s objectives, hence, the lists were differently ordered, although mostly composed of similar exercises.?

Walker took to YouTube hours ago and frankly admitted that he was inspired by Cbum?s list of workouts, and thus, wanted to share his own list to build muscle with the community.?

Nick Walker?s Top 10 Exercises for Muscle Building

As per the video, the 28-year-old fitness icon quickly got to the list, explaining inclined dumbbell press was his number one on the list which he explained helps to build upper chest muscles. This was followed by Smith squats. He opined that his choice was contrary to popular opinion, as most go with freeway squats.?

Cable Curls and pull-ups were the next two best exercises on his list. However, the American athlete noted, ?I think pull-ups is probably one of the most underrated exercises that people just don’t utilize it enough.? Moreover, the athlete listed push-ups as another underrated workout, although he claimed that he would not start a workout with push-ups.??

Walker said, ?but it is something I would end with to really burn it out and put as much blood volume into the muscle as possible.? Therefore, this exercise is a must for him at the end of workouts and also is quite effective. RDLs were the next workout on his list, and he admitted that he chooses dumbbells or barbells over deadlifts. Whereas, speaking of Cbum, his list also comprised a diverse set of exercises.?

Chris Williams, the host of the popular Modern Wisdom podcast on YouTube, recently featured the IFBB champion as a guest. During the interview, the host asked Cbum about his top 10 workouts, while they discussed various aspects of the star athlete’s life and career. In response, the Canadian pro revealed that squats are a must-do on his list.

?Just overall leg growth, they help glutes, quads like a large portion of the legs,? he said. Following this, deadlifts were listed as his second most important exercise, which helps him target his hamstrings. The list ended with lateral raises, which results in ?some meaty delts,? as per the athlete.?
