Despite all the triumphs in his professional ventures, seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger has not had good luck when it comes to personal relationships. While the bodybuilding veteran did not have a great relationship with his father in his childhood years, things were not any better for him as he got divorced in 2021 after his affair with his housemaid, Mildred Baena, became public. Joseph Baena, son of Mildred Baena and Arnold Schwarzenegger, does not have smooth relations with his half-siblings. 

While the father and son share a good bond, Baena is not present at any family gatherings or functions. However, this does not take away the love that the duo shares with each other. A few months ago, when Arnold’s first TV series, ‘FUBAR’ was released, Baena opened up about the bond that he shares with his father during a short interview with ETonline.com.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his ex-wife Maria Shriver separated in 2021, while Shriver filed for a divorce in 2011 after his affair with the housemaid Mildred Baena came out. Mildred’s son, Joseph, was 14 years old at the time. While the news was shocking for everyone, it did a lot of damage to the Schwarzenegger family. Even though Arnold is very supportive and loving towards Baena, the other members of the family have never had a cordial relationship with him.

Baena, who possesses the genetics of his father and is known for his ripped and aesthetic physique, was recently seen solo at the premiere of ‘FUBAR.’ During a short interview that Baena gave at the time, he confessed that Arnold has always been very loving and supportive. He said, “I mean, it’s amazing having a father like him who is so loving and supportive. Although, you know, there are obviously different circumstances than most, it’s something that I’m really grateful for.” However, when asked about his half-siblings, Baena politely refused to answer by stating, “I mean, that’s something that, uh, we don’t really talk about.”

Joseph Baena’s entry into the real estate world

Well, Schwarzenegger did not really get him into the realtor business. Just after Baena finished college, Arnold told him that he was on his own from this point on. “I’m really grateful that my dad helped me get through college,” Baena started. “But right when college was done, it was just like, ‘You go. You’re on your own.’ I was like, ‘Oh, s***.'”

Baena was yet to kick-start his acting career back then. So, he decided to get a job to manage his finances. “I was like, ‘I need to do something.’ So I started interning at this real estate company.” Fortunately, he learned quickly and developed an interest in it.

Apart from excelling in the real estate world, Baena also has a successful acting career and spends his time DJing at parties as well.
