The outcome of the research was surprising. The group whose calorie intake was doubled per week seemed to enjoy their reward meal. The reward meal kept them motivated to follow their diet, and their self-control around food was much better than compared to the other group. Arnie emphasized, “Just as important, those who snuck in the bonus meal lost similar weight despite the weekly indulgence.” He shared three key takeaways from the research.

The Austrian Oak emphasized that you need a meal service that delivers food according to your requirements, which is the cornerstone of your diet plan. According to Arnie, protein and fiber are the key factors in your meal, but you can still enjoy carbs and fat and still stay healthy. He added, “If the foundation is in place, you can enjoy foods that aren’t nutritious.” He concluded by saying that the super-restrictive plans are less likely to work if you keep skipping the food you love.

This is not the first time Arnie has shared the fact that restricted eating habits are unlikely to work. Earlier, he discussed why people who follow a restricted diet tend to overeat.
