America’s presidential election is one year away, and the political campaigns of the Democrats and Republicans have already begun. Despite being an elite Republican politician and two-term Governor of California State, Arnold Schwarzenegger is not eligible for the presidential position, as he wasn’t born in the U.S.A.

Arnold Schwarzenegger wants new talent to spearhead the American growth story

The 76-year-old migrated to America in 1968 for a successful bodybuilding career. In 2003, Arnie first competed for California’s governor position in a recall election. At 56, he became the governor of the USA’s largest state and worked for his citizens’ welfare. So, Schwarzenegger profoundly understands America’s vision and obstacles.

The 76-year-old recently pointed out the major missing piece of the American political story. While speaking about modern-day politics to The Wall Street Journal, the Governator opined, “I just believe that we should look for the new breed. For a new generation of leaders rather than squishing them.” The former Republican complained, “The media, all you hear about is Biden and Trump, Trump-Biden, Biden-Trump, Trump-Biden. It’s like, it doesn’t give anyone else a chance.”

There is maybe a 40-year-old, and very talented, very experienced. It doesn’t give them a chance. They don’t ever get to be mentioned in the news,” Arnie argued, feeling upset about the lost talent that could be beneficial for the country and its citizens. Earlier, Schwarzenegger reflected on how only one of his dreams never came true in America.

Schwarzenegger knew he would make a fortune when he first landed in America at age 21. However, he would not have assumed the magnitude of it. Arnie set an unparalleled legacy in American history by becoming the 7x Mr. Olympia, a Hollywood legend, and the 2x Governor of California. However, his dream of running for president will never come true.

“If I’d been born in America, I would’ve run. Because now? This was a very good time to get in the race,” he said during the 2016 elections. But Schwarzenegger was always involved in American politics by adding his perspective on various issues.
