After the popularity of modern technology, many bodybuilding beasts and fitness enthusiasts have come around on social media to help spread their well-experienced fitness routines. Arnold Schwarzenegger joined the trend and connected with his fans through Reddit.

Within the subreddit r/Fitness, Arnold Schwarzenegger did a brief AMA session from his Reddit handle u/GovSchwarzenegger. In the description, he recalled that it had been almost about a decade since he last took questions from his fans, thus he ventured on this little session with all his enthusiasm. Amidst many, one of the fans asked him, “What age do you think is the best age to start introducing a kid to exercises and eventually to working out?”

In reply, Schwarzenegger mentioned having kids notice the elders train from early on is beneficial. He said, “I think letting your kids see you train from a very early age is important”. Then he proceeded to depict a cherished memory. “I have photos of my kids as toddlers sitting in my lap while I do rows”. He further insinuated a core suggestion that can be a helpful way of introducing kids to the fitness world. He remarks, “Focus on sports and fun until they show an interest in your training (since they’re watching it), then you can introduce bodyweight moves. Don’t force it. It has to be fun and they have to decide to do it.”

The AMA had brought about several crucial topics that needed to be answered by an expert. However, some of them showed a personal side of Arnold to a larger extent. As one of the questions about alcohol pops up, Schwarzenegger opens his mouth about his family history.

Arnold Schwarzenegger discloses why he is not a drinker

In the AMA session, when one of the fans enquired whether working out right after a massive alcohol intake would induce bad consequences, Arnold replied to him with a confession. He stated clearly that he had a bad perception of alcohol consumption, as he had seen in the case of his father and brother. Thus, although he is not a big drinker himself, he still shared a few words. He declared, “If you just mean a beer here and there or a glass of wine or a schnapps, I’ve done that and it didn’t throw off my training.”

The bodybuilders of the past have the power to change the lives of the upcoming champs. It is through their initiatives and guidelines that the budding bodybuilders find a direction.
