In the constantly evolving landscape of American politics, every move made by politicians and public figures goes through tough analysis and interpretation. Recently, a seemingly harmless video posted by Mike Pence, former vice president of America and a contender for the 2024 US presidential elections, has sparked a storm of reactions and discussions across various social media platforms.

The debate started moments after Pence posted a video of himself acting as if he was filling gas in his truck and expressed his goal to reduce fuel prices when coming into power. However, people took it to the comments section to bash him for never actually pressing the lever and selecting his fuel while pumping gas. Among many such comments, one was from legendary bodybuilder-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s eldest son, Patrick, as well.

What did Patrick Schwarzenegger comment exactly?

Being the son of the ex-governor of California, Patrick often states his political opinions using his social media handle. Being an influential figure himself, he often notices even the most peculiar detail of a social media post and expresses his opinions on the issue. The video saw Pence reveal that since Biden came into power, gas prices have gone up 60 percent, and electricity prices have increased 25 percent. He also stated that, “By 2040 We will reclaim America’s role as the leading producer of energy in the world.”

After coming across this video posted by Mike Pence, many users called him out for his poor acting. Amidst these comments, Patrick Schwarzenegger also gave his two cents. He wrote, “Dude doesn’t even know how to pump gas.”

Patrick comes to the rescue of Joe Biden

One of the netizens recently tweeted a photo of Joe Biden and wrote about how Joe has a weak and fragile body. He continued by even writing, “This is the body of a weak loser. A slob with no work ethic and no strength. A conquered soul. RISE ABOVE.” Patrick reacted to this tweet, pointing out that, given his age, it is natural for him to look like this. Schwarzenegger emphasized not commenting on someone’s body.

Responding to this, Patrick wrote, “I mean… he is 80 lol. Chill on the body stuff.” His tweet sent a profound message that regardless of age, body-shaming or disrespecting an individual is not acceptable.
