The Nigerian bodybuilding legend is currently at a whopping 330 lbs weight, carrying lean muscle mass equivalent to that of a lion. Rightly known as the ‘Nigerian Lion,’ Dauda gives his honest take on the sport of bodybuilding during a short interview with Muscular Development Magazine.

The sport of bodybuilding heavily relies on a combination of all the aspects like size, leanness, symmetry, separation in muscles, grain look, etc. If an athlete lacks even one of these things, they might lose a few points. It’s important to have all the body parts in their peak condition so that one thing does not look out of proportion compared to other body parts. When it comes to proportions and symmetry, Samson Dauda is one of the most complete athletes in the current Olympia lineup.

Dauda, who placed sixth at last year’s contest, was recently interviewed. Amidst other things, he shared his two cents on what bodybuilding means to him. He stated, “This is what bodybuilding is to me. It’s the building of the perfect symmetrical body. It’s about having all the packages ticked.”
