Nigerian Lion is all the rage in the bodybuilding world right now. Samson Dauda might not have succeeded in winning Mr Olympia in 2023, but he took all the other competitions by storm. The bodybuilder with a power-packed physique secured the titles of Arnold Classic, Romania Pro, and Dubai Pro back to back, so clearly 2024 might be his year. However, all was not rainbows and butterflies for the bodybuilder and he experienced a hamstring injury two days ago.

But he’s not called a lion just for the sake of it, and just like the king of the jungle, he got up and started working out and flexing his muscles in no time. Dauda even uploaded a video of himself posing and showing his amazing muscle striations on Instagram and the fans fawned over it.

Samson Dauda lives up to his name: Nigeran Lion

He uploaded a video first, showing his back muscles and the perfect Christmas tree on his body. After that, he turned around and his massive quads and 6 packs took away the limelight. He captioned the post saying, “First time posing since the hamstring injury 2 days ago. Working with @michelle_mbsportstherapy to get me back to full form in no time.”

This is not the first time that he has gone through a hamstring injury. In September 2023, he had gone through a similar injury and decided to talk about it on Instagram. Along with talking about his injury, he also spoke about the negativity that is sometimes spread in the bodybuilding world when what is expected does not happen. Since he was declared third in 2023 Mister Olympia, many fans were disappointed. However, he became the bigger person and addressed this issue.
