Culter recently became nostalgic for his prime bodybuilding years. The Quad Stomp recently shared how he got his third Mr. Olympia title in 2009 after losing it to Dexter Jackson in 2008.

Jay Cutler spills beans on his triumph at Mr. Olympia 2009

The King of bodybuilding, Ronnie Coleman, retired in 2006 after failing to claim his 9th Mr. Olympia. Jay Cutler claimed his second Mr. Olympia in 2007, but then-bodybuilding fans criticized his win. Even though Culter came with peak conditioning in 2008, his symmetry and aesthetics were not up to the mark that left him with second place. 

Dexter Jackson, who claimed his third Arnold Classic that year, stood first in the Mr. Olympia event. But Cutler resolved to claim his lost Sandow Trophy next year. Sharing a picture from his training, Cutler captioned his post, “2009, a time when I was doubted. I didn’t feel defeated. I was motivated to do what no one else ever did; win the title of Mr. Olympia back!

He boosted his follower’s spirit by concluding his post, “Find your motivation.” His fans, who can’t stop revering his Quad Stomp pose, knew the iconic physique of the 4x Mr. Olympia in 2009.

The pose also became synonymous with Culter, as he is now known as the Quad Stomp. “I went to drop the quad stomp, you know, I put a strain on my hamstrings a little bit because I hit it so hard,” the 4x Mr. Olympia champion recently recalled. Cutler further added that hitting the famous pose had left him strained.
