Bodybuilding becomes a significant aspect of these roles because superheroes are portrayed as strong individuals who can lift cars and buildings over their heads. Derek, a well-known YouTuber with the channel ‘More Plates More Dates’, has previously discussed the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs).

This time, he revealed the process through which actors prepare for superhero roles. In a recent short video, Derek answers the biggest question about how actors get ready and bulk up for any superhero role.

Derek answers the steroid inquiry about Hollywood

When he was asked about how celebrities stack up before any major hero roles, Derek said, “Most celebrities will be using stuff they can get prescribed legally, that they can travel with, and is human-approved.” Since celebs have to maintain their public image and also travel to different places, this reason seems legit for them.

Derek went on to say what actors like Dwane Johnson, Chris Hemsworth, or Henry Cavill would use  to prepare for a role. He said, “So in general that would be replacing their testosterone at a minimum and then pushing that dose up accordingly to whatever their genetics dictate…Growth hormone is typically on the table as well.”

Derek also talked about celebrities using Nandrolone Decanoate injections. He explained that these injections are well-tested, well-understood, and there is evidence of their safety for human use. The social media star also cautioned against using steroids from underground labs, as they can pose significant risks. In conclusion, actors need to prioritize safety and consider all the necessary precautions before taking any steroids for their bodybuilding endeavors.

On May 24th, during an interview with Men’s Health, Arnold Schwarzenegger openly discussed his past steroid usage. In a conversation with Ebenezer Samuel, he disclosed the specific compounds he used in the 1970s. This revelation prompted MPMD to conduct further investigation and share their opinion on Arnold’s claims, aiming to uncover the truth behind the statements made by the renowned bodybuilding icon.

After a lot of research, Derek found that the claims did line up and Arnie was saying the truth. The 75-year-old warned people not to replicate his mistakes. To that, Derek said, “As if it’s like the most egregious regimen ever. It’s like literally borderline replacement bro,”
