People always lose hope whenever there are any diseases or old age involved. This even happens in the bodybuilding industry; however, Julia Linn is a fighter. She not only fought various health complications but defeated death.

Julia Linn went on Instagram to post about her incredible journey and bravery. She defeated all odds to become the winner of a bodybuilding competition by the name of NPC Masters Bikini. She always posts about her life and facts about fitness on her social media which is truly inspiring.

She recently posted her transformation picture wearing the same black dress in both and captioned, “So many have said to me: I look just like you before photo. I was 62. On the right 66. I’ve sustained my physique transformation for 4 years.”

She also wrote, “Clear intention creates energy that attracts what you need to satisfy those desires. So be careful what you wish for. Be intentional! Go after it & it will also come to you. Your body will transform starting from this inside out.”

Her positive message definitely reached the fans and she also wrote down her diet and fitness plans in the captions to help others.

University professor and certified personal trainer is a fitness advocate

Julia survived a double organ transplant and set a goal for herself to compete in a fitness contest. She was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 11 and this condition caused a lot of complications.  Julia faced kidney failure, blindness, and heart disease. She even went through experimental kidney and pancreas transplants. After all this, she not only survived but is healthy and thriving at the age of 66. According to Mail Online, with the 30 anniversary of her transplants, she won a fitness challenge. She is also a personal trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA).

Julia spreads her awareness for all other women and encourages them to not get scared by the gym environments. She also refers to herself as a ‘queenager’ and she feels better than she ever did in her youth. “I often tell the women I meet that it is never too late,” Julia expressed.
