Chris Bumstead has always been exceptionally well balanced when it came to exercises and training, so much so that he had even received a solid 8.5 rating from the exercise expert, Dr. Mike Israetel. The bodybuilder this time shows a flawless example of doing another difficult exercise that flabbergasted the fitness community.
The 29-year-old bodybuilder with 5 Mr. Olympia in Classic physique was seen doing his chest and back exercises. And the portrayal of his static hold technique got much attention from the fans. As he showed how he rocks the exercises, some fans speculated how this technique is going to trend on the internet now. Let us look at what Chris Bumstead had to offer.

In his latest Instagram post, Bumstead shared two clips of him doing his chest and back workouts. In the caption too he wrote the same however, he induced much humor when he spelled the words wrong. He said, “Chast & Beck.” He also promoted his merch by saying, “Rocking the new @cbumfitness merch, dropping April 24.”

However, people were more stunned by Bumstead’s Static hold technique. His approach towards this exercise made the bodybuilder look extremely stationary as he slowly lifted the heavyweights. This isometric muscle contraction does not allow any movement in the body but lets the muscles contract and is extremely beneficial for muscle fiber activation which in turn helps in building better strength and endurance.

When fans saw the video clip, they began to question whether they were experiencing a glitch on their end or if it was truly Chris Bumstead flawlessly executing the movement.

One of the fans stated how after Bumstead shared this video, he would make others follow his lead who would take time doing their reps. They said, “Everyone is going to be pausing everything taking 20 min to do a set now.” Another fan explained how they thought it almost appeared that the wifi was switched off, “What happened the first rep wifi got switched off?”
