It seems like these are indeed good days for Chris Bumstead. The champion has taken to Instagram to announce that he and his lovely girlfriend are expecting a baby soon. While Bumstead enjoyed a lot of support and cheers from the fans recently when he won the Mr. Olympia 2023 title, his recent announcement has filled the hearts of the bodybuilding community with immense joy.

Bumstead maintains an active social media presence and tends to share details related to his personal as well as professional life with his fans often. While he was posting photos from his prep and the Olympia contest for the past few weeks, his most recent Instagram post regarding Courtney’s pregnancy definitely passed the wholesome vibe check.

Chris Bumstead makes a heartwarming announcement

Posting pictures of himself with Courtney, Bumstead simply wrote, “Baby Bum Coming 2024.” The couple shared multiple adorable pictures together. Amidst these pictures was also an image of the baby’s sonogram.

Bumstead got engaged to Courtney King last year on October 01st, 2023. While the couple has been dating since 2018, they first met back in 2017 at the Mr. Olympia contest, which was Bumstead’s first Olympia appearance where he came second. A year later, the couple took it to social media and went head over heels for each other. Dating ever since Bumstead admits that Courtney has been beside him ever since.

IFBB Pro and Bumstead’s biggest stage rival Ramon Dino commented on the post by stating, “Brooooo congratulations, God bless !! Amém,” while his sister, who was backstage at this year’s Olympia with Bumstead reacted to the news by writing, “YAYYYYYYY let the world in on the most beautiful blessing.”

Coming across the post, bodybuilding legend Dexter Jackson wrote, “Congrats guys!! So happy for y’all!!,” while a comment from Ryan Terry, the latest Men’s Physique champion read, “Congrats guys!! So happy for y’all!!” Another Classic Physique competitor, Ruff Diesel, also toasted to the good news by commenting, “Congratulations bro.”
