During his ventures in the world of glitz and glamor, his roads crossed with the iconic actor known for his role in the ‘Rocky’ franchise, Sylvester Stallone. 

Back in the day, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger had a cold war going on due to the fact that those two were the only ones who were loved by the audience when it came to action movies. The duo had an epic rivalry which the audience appreciated. However, off-screen, they share a good bond to date. When Arnold announced his desire to become the President of the United States, among many other people who reacted to this was Sylvester Stallone as well. Sylvester Stallone opens up on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s decision

While many may believe that the duo had a bitter relationship due to their clash on-screen, this can not be further from the truth. Both superstars shared an affectionate bond with each other. It was like a dream come true for most fans when Stallone announced that he would be casting ‘The Austrian Oak’ in his movie franchise, ‘Expendables.’ When the duo appeared on the screen together, they made sure to not disappoint the fans. Back in the day, during a talk show with Jonathan Ross, Stallone gave his two cents about Arnold’s willingness to compete in the US Presidential elections.

Stallone stated, “Arnold’s a genius. I mean, seriously…he’s had three incredible careers. He may not be able to sit there are split atoms, but he knows how to get things done.” Continuing further, he admitted, “He knows how to move people, and if they would allow him because our constitution doesn’t allow foreigners…considering the entire country’s made up of foreigners, they can’t run for president.”

Stallone’s prediction if Arnold ever stood for the election

Taking a sarcastic jibe at the politics of the United States, Sylvester Stallone admitted that he believes that Arnold actually held a pretty good chance of succeeding if he would be allowed to stand for the position of President in the elections.
