Michael Israetel dismisses alcohol as a Poison

In his latest YouTube Shorts, Michael Israetel points out how alcohol is a “poison” and can have bad effects on one’s recovery process. He stated, “Alcohol is a poison. You guys know that it poisons you. At high concentration, it poisons you a lot and that f*cks up your recovery.” He also said that alcohol affects muscle growth by attacking the hormonal pathway which is equally bad.

Although the 7 times Mr. Olympia, Arnold Schwarzenegger had previously been known to have added alcohol in his protein shakes, the Expert Scientist dismisses its use at all fronts. He commented, “Even if Alcohol helps you get to sleep, especially if you drink quite a bit, 3-4 drinks or more. You can notably predictably disrupt the sleep quality of the sleep that follows.” He also talked about how Alcohol can evidently dehydrate the consumer.

Not only alcohol, but Dr. Michael Israetel also advised his followers to not take excessive protein either. According to his Dinosaur analogy, it can actually have more disadvantages than is usually known.

According to Israetel having an excess protein intake can have digestive disruption. He also said how an increased amount of protein intake never has an increased amount of benefits and hence it is much like killing the Dinosaur planet with about 10 nukes which are not even necessary. He said, “There’s definitely a cost. Physical cost. There’s a Diarrhea cost to that cause if you have that much protein your p**p starts to look interesting and there’s just no clear benefit.”

Michael Israetel tries to best to point out the wrong conceptions about nutrition that are spread across the community. As a learned man with much experience in the field of fitness, he knows perfectly well which food item is necessary in one’s diet and which can be harmful although believed to be useful by most.
