Jamaican bodybuilder, Brian Buchanan was one bodybuilder who flaunted the most unique chest-to-waist ratio that no one else could achieve. Therefore, a recent Instagram post by Chicago Adonis Bodybuilding spotlighted the former athlete and described his superior conditioning during the 80s and 90s. Similarly, the fans also took to the comments to give him the recognition that was long overdue.

As per the update shared on Friday, the 61-year-old athlete was once captured onstage at the 1988 IFBB Italian Grand Prix organized in the Bergamo region of Italy. The black and white resurfaced picture did not do justice to his historical lat-to-waist proportioning as it seemed faded. However, it was a mere proof of his grand physique.

The caption revealed that the snap was clicked from the audience seating level. Regardless, he is known for his iconic V-tapers and was placed fifth in the competition depicted in the post. Bodybuilding veteran, Richard Gaspari took home the overall title followed by Lee Labrada as the runner-up.
Doubtless, the London-born athlete’s physique is treasured by the sphere and is often used as an example of pure talent. As per sources, his waist was measured at 27 inches while his chest was 57 inches, a record on its own. He won the NABBA Amateur Mr. Universe title in 1984. Whereas, he placed in the top 10 contenders in the 1988 and 1989 Mr. Olympia events. Noting his shredded frame, fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the athlete.
