People are always criticized for what they can?t do. However, when they prove others wrong, that is when they win. Unfortunately, he was always discouraged and told what he could not do since birth. This is because Maines, a Clearfield Area High School graduate (currently 31) ?was born prematurely. Due to this, he had a case of ectopic pelvic kidney where the kidney is not positioned in the correct place inside the body. This did not stop him from achieving his goals, though.
