Recently, he has been flexing his Brazilian Jujitsu capabilities and showing off his martial arts abilities. The 39-year-old, who was supposed to fight Tesla CEO Elon Musk, has not given up his practice of Jujitsu. Even though that flight was canceled, the Meta CEO always shows his impressive portfolio of evidence to back up his fighting prowess.
He again posted a picture where he showed his passion for martial arts through visible signs on his face. Let’s take a look at what happened at the recent Jujitsu practice.

His recent Instagram post showed him in a close-up selfie with a not-so-perfect face. His selfie had him posing with a bruised nose, and two black eyes from his Jujitsu practice earlier. He captioned the post, “Sparring got a little out of hand. May need to update my avatar 🤣”

Zuckerberg was interested in martial arts during the COVID-19 pandemic. He had also added that the sport gave him an energy boost, according to People magazine. The Meta CEO also showed his interest in MMA and talked about it in a podcast with Joe Rogan. The billionaire diligently practices his Brazilian Jujitsu, as a way of occupying his mind and staying active.

However, the fight got canceled, which according to Zuckerberg, was because of Elon Musk’s lack of seriousness. After revealing that Facebook even offered free grappling classes to his employees, he also shared a video on Instagram demonstrating his understanding of the martial arts form.
He not only showed his interest in the sport but also participated in the Brazilian Jujitsu tournament held in Woodside, California. Competing in the BJJ tour competition, the billionaire CEO achieved huge success after winning a gold medal in the Nogi Master 1 White Belt Feather Weight Division and also secured a silver medal in the Gi Master 2 White Belt Feather Weight Division.

So in the end, the bruises on his face are just collateral of his passion for martial arts. Zukerberg loves, honing his skills and showcasing his dedication in this grappling art form so injuries are just a minor sacrifice for learning a great art form.
