Sergio Oliva Jr. rebelled against his father to pursue his passion for bodybuilding. Though the 3x Mr.Olympia legend doesn’t want his son to follow in his footsteps, the Junior turned a deaf ear. And now, after serving a detention period in jail following a car accident case, Oliva Jr. is in the Hulk mood for not being able to compete in bodybuilding events.

He missed the 2023 version of the Arnold Classic South America show, which was held on April 14-16, thanks to the unfortunate case in Dubai. Now a new Instagram post he shared subtly hinted at the reason why he was not being able to compete any time soon.

The Myth’s son was behind bars in Dubai after he was involved in a traffic mishap that killed a person. Though released without any criminal charges, he is still in the city until some legal issues are cleared up. “I can’t do anything until the case is finalized and sent on to the insurance. So now, I’m just waiting for the car insurance people to deal with the case,” he said, per muscle and fitness.com.

The 2x Arnold Classic Best Poser, however, is apparently going restless as he shared his animated video of turning into a Hulk on Instagram. The caption of the post,” Dubai not gonna like me when I’m angry if I can’t get out of here to compete soon,” says it all. He is under travel restrictions due to the accident case as of now.

Though Oliva Jr. is still in Dubai, he is not killing time in grief. He started prepping for Mr. Olympia at his favorite Binous Gym. As much as he wants to be back on the stage, his fans are also eagerly waiting for his Title winning transformation. And he often flaunts his shredded figure onto his Instagram grid.

Oliva Jr. believes that he can grab the prestigious title of Mr. Olympia if he thoroughly preps for the competition. That’s what he is up to these days, in Dubai. After a break from the competitive arena for a couple of years owing to arm nerve damage in 2020, the detention has only delayed his dream.

His recent Instagram posts are a big hit with his fans who believe he could claim Mr.Olympia this time. “I’m going to war with myself out here. ME vs. ME,” he wrote a week back on his social media, posting his pumped biceps.
