Being a superhero is not easy; playing a superhero is harder than being one. The characters already have insane strength and mobility in their genetics, but the actors playing the role do not. So, the actor has to rigorously work out and do bodybuilding to give the semblance of the Superhero’s strength. Actors playing these roles needed to have immense strength, and a jacked body, be it Batman, Superman, Hulk, or even Ironman. Ben Affleck, who played Batman, also had to go through intense training inside and outside the movie.

A fitness duo on YouTube named ‘Buff Dudes’ made a fun video where they rate fitness movies made over the years. They talk about several movies such as ‘Predator‘, ‘Hercules‘, and ‘Pumping Iron‘. ‘Batman vs Superman‘ is among them, which was a massive hit among DC fans.

Henry Cavill spilled the beans on his training for Superman

The ‘Man of Steel‘ actor had appeared on ‘The Rich Eisen Show,’ and participated in a questionnaire session. He busted myths about his fitness journey. The host posed the first question to Henry and said, “Henry Cavill, is it true or false that you achieved 3% body fat for your role as Superman? “

Cavill was shocked by the stats and said, “I never took a body fat reading, but I don’t think it is as low as 3%.” He also added, “That’s super low.” He also informed the hosts that he was on a 5000-calorie diet while training for the role of Superman.
