Arnold Schwarzenegger admires a pregnant woman’s determination

In his recent Tweet, Arnold brings forth another tweet made by a woman. The woman examines her inclinations toward being an active member of Arnold’s Pump Club. However, the shocking part lies in the fact that the woman is 8 months pregnant. She writes in her post, “I?m nearly 8 months pregnant and I don?t want to do anything. But I subscribed on a whim and now I look forward to the daily emails. You motivate me to stay active, go outside & swim every day.”

In reply, Arnold congratulates her and reflects his excitement after listening to her motivating words. Schwarzenegger thus writes in turn, “This is exactly what I want to hear.”, thus further supporting her decision and letting his fandom know about what to strive for.

When Schwarzenegger underwent an open heart surgery during his Terminator days, Arnie’s doctors made mistakes. So, soon enough, he had to undergo another round of surgery to rectify the prior mistake. During these times, Arnold desperately wanted to get back to his set, which he later realized was an “unrealistic expectation”. But slowly after his recovery, when he eventually was strong enough to start working for Terminator, he learned a good lesson. He thus declared in his Newsletter, “Keep this equation in the back of your mind: Happiness = reality ? expectations”.

Determination is a crucial element that makes a distinction between a success and a loss. Many people start doing something new every day, however, it is their consistency and will that speak for their actions at the end of the day. Unless they are thoroughly determined, they are likely to forsake their undertaking as soon as they sense the slightest bit of unusuality. The woman spotlighted by Arnie is an exceptional example that he believes most people should look up to.
