Dave Palumbo’s wrenching pain in the chest

In the video, the bodybuilder tells Chris Aceto about his recent hospital visit. It was Saturday morning when the former felt a bit sick. It was plain coughing and chills, but he later felt an immense pain in his back and scapula, which later progressed to his front ribs.

Palumbo confessed that his ribs were sore because of his recent surgery, but the pain that he experienced on that day was something else. “This was a different pain it was like a gripping pain on my ribs and all I could think about was Jerry Ward,” he told to Aceto in the video. Ward died of pulmonary embolism and the 55-year-old was afraid his pain was also due to a similar condition.

The bodybuilder, however, didn’t sit on the situation and drove himself to the hospital and got admitted. The tests later confirmed nothing serious but a lung infection that caused the pain. But the pain left the bodybuilder panicking to a great extent. “I never in my life experienced anything like that,” he sighed. Dave Palumbo earlier went under the knife for treating cancer.
