Chris Bumstead’s plans for sleep training

Bumstead revealed that the biggest thing he would want to implement in his daughter’s upbringing is sleep training. He explained that it is a method to enable babies to soothe themselves naturally without needing their parents after a few months. He stated,

“When they cry you just leave them alone to cry. So they self-soothe, and then they learn so that they don’t they’re not reliant on you coming to get them every time they cry.”

Bumstead further added how Western society makes it a necessity for babies to grow up learning that they should not rely on people too often. He reflected, “We live in a Western society that enforces way too much like independence and like no social culture community. So instead what I feel like I want to do with Courtney is giving the baby space and infant space consistently just to feel whatever emotion they’re in.” Although Bumstead is hyped up about his upcoming baby girl, he had once revealed the one quality he wishes that his baby does not get.
