When he was further asked if Arnold Schwarzenegger had at all reached out to help him move through it, Arnie replied, “I’ve known him for many many years and he and I are friends. He was kind enough when I ran for governor”.

Schwarzenegger further recalled how about 30 years ago when he became the Governor, The Rock offered to sit as the honorary Chairperson. He recalled, “He was the honorary chair for a year until we found somebody else to do it. And he did a great great job. And he was very very helpful and he was very helpful with my race for governor.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dwayne Johnson might have been similar in many accords outside of their career shift from sport to big screen.
