Thanks to social media, the standards of a good physique are frequently changing. Fitness creators and bodybuilders these days are portraying such a perfect physique on their social media that it is creating unrealistic expectations in the minds of common people. This often leads to them joining the dark side and relying on steroids and performance-enhancing drugs, and that too, at abusive dosages. One such individual who is blasting a ton of PEDs and is open about the same is Sam Sulek.

Sulek gained a lot of fame and hype in the past couple of months thanks to his viral TikTok videos. Despite being just 21 years old, Sulek carries a mass-monster physique that even many veteran bodybuilders are unable to achieve. However, as he recently ended his massive bulk, he started his cut just a while ago. Unfortunately, the cut seems to be having a few flaws as pointed out by IFBB Pro and online coach Greg Doucette.

IFBB Pro Greg Doucette has competed in over 70 competitions in his entire career. Lifting since the age of 13 years old, having an experience of more than three decades, Doucette turned into a full-time content creator after retiring from the sport. With a ton of experience and knowledge under his belt, Doucette became an online coach as well. In his recent YouTube video, he pointed out that Sulek is dieting way too hard.

“I’m telling you it’s got lower calories than last time and I guarantee he’s either losing muscle or not going to build a muscle he once could have. He’s dieting too hard, doing it all wrong,” Doucette said. He pointed out that being in a huge calorie deficit can lead to muscle atrophy.

Doucette points out the flaw in Sulek’s cardio routine

Sulek has been the center of attraction in the fitness community for quite a while now. Even though he is being criticized by many, including Greg himself, for having a poor diet, Sulek tends to not reply to any criticism or comment and continues to do his thing. In a recent video by Doucette, he started by appreciating him for waking up early in the morning. However, things took a turn when Sulek revealed his take on cardio.

When the young fitness fanatic confessed, “I feel like the StairMaster is just so too hard,” the coach lost it. Correcting Sulek’s claims, Doucette added, “He’s 100 percent wrong, the only reason he thinks the StairMaster is too hard is because he’s going at too quick of a pace.”
