Reigning Mr. Olympia champion Hadi Choopan has faced countless troubles before even reaching the Mr. Olympia stage. The IFBB Pro has won countless hearts with its performances over the years. However, there is always uncertainty about his presence due to the visa troubles that the Iranian bodybuilder faces.

Making things worse, what many fans are not aware of is the fact that Hadi Choopan has partial hearing loss. However, neither of these two things could stop ‘The Persian Wolf’ from dethroning Big Ramy at last year’s Mr. Olympia. The Iranian IFBB pro bodybuilder proved his mettle at last year’s Olympia stage as he lifted the Sandow trophy, ending Big Ramy’s streak of two consecutive titles.

According to IranWire.com, “The teenager also practiced boxing for a while, and the blows he received led to his partial loss of hearing. He later said he never looked at this problem as a weakness but accepted it as part of life.” Furthermore, it was disclosed that “he left boxing at the age of 18, and, with the support of his brother, became a professional bodybuilder.”
